Women build DIY homes

I have been wanting my own land and home for quite some time. My dog Cici and I would love to create a village of harmonious like-minded people to live in community with. And we also think that senior citizens (such as myself) living on a very fixed income along with single moms might make good neighbors.

We are concerned about sustainability, eco friendliness, homelessness, and other issues. And we’d love to explore various villages, communities and homes that other folks are in the process of developing for themselves around the world. I once did a column for the Seattle newspapers that featured DIY project homes, unusual solutions to affordability and these will also be included right here.

We already have a 20 foot high yurt, geo dome, white, 23 diameter sitting in the garage. And have done research into modular buildings, shipping container homes, tiny homes and more.
